Fort Courage formed the setting for this popular TV western series, which ran from 1965-1967. Private Wilton Parmenter (Ken Berry) finds himself in charge of the fort after a mishap, and subsequently has to deal with the local Indian population and the attentions of the attractive Jane Angelica Thrift (Melody Patterson), who only has eyes for him.
